In quantum physics, the entanglement of particles describes a relationship between their fundamental properties that can't have happened by chance.
Quantum entanglement occurs when two particles become inextricably linked, and whatever happens to one immediately affects the other, regardless of how far apart they are.
Interestingly, these sentences - once you replace the word “particles” with pronouns of 2 human beings - sound just like the description Plato has for twinflames - the soulmates of soulmates.

Her eyes transfixed on the otherworldly patterns marking the ball held in the Foo Dog’s paw… “No.” Her first word ever to me.
“That’s the Flower of Life. The universe comes from it...” Our eyes met and locked for a heartbeat longer than what would have been polite for strangers.
It was this moment we both knew the conversation had to continue.

This is the shoebox in our closet. A sort of digital treasure trove for keeping our “goodies” - epically beautiful films, music and lyrics that move our hearts, dialogues with friends pondering the precious gift that is life. These are things that resonate deeply, her and my soul food...
Isabella and I are believers of "miracles" - in a sense there are forces invisible to the eye and the rational mind does not compute. Yet, it is these unseen forces that go on to manifest reality, the same way bricks are laid to build buildings. Science now shows the power of intention is able to influence reality; we just can’t stop ourselves from wondering: What, then, could the more sublime and powerful emotions do, are capable of...?
